Whether the architect draws his building with pen and paper at the drafting table, using his keyboard and CAD screen, or with a chalk on the blackboard, these are nothing but tools he uses.
Did the advent of the paint-spray in cans lead to the downfall of painters?

Edit: &quot;art and not a science&quot; ??? Certainly, it is art when you see the forms of the Opera House, but I think Le Corbusier had to know a fair bit of &quot;science&quot; to make it &quot;sound&quot; as it does, as well as to keep it standing the way it stands!
Architecture is one of the highest degrees in material engineering... and not for scholars!</description>
